Sweet Strawberries & Soothing CBD - Tribes CBD Strawberry Daiquiri Recipe

Anyone who added fresh strawberries to their daiquiri for the first time was a genius. Not only does this drink taste amazing, it has some health benefits too! Okay, that might be a pleasure, but at least it’s a little better for your waistline … right?

Well, if you’re particularly concerned about the fattening effects of this cocktail, here’s a sneaky suggestion: add in the Tribe’s CBD oil. Believe it or not, some studies suggest that CBD can help you stay lean. While CBD oil isn’t an excuse to exercise regularly, there’s no harm in mixing a dropper into your strawberry daiquiri.

Not only are berries delicious, they are also some of the healthiest fruits known to mankind. One study after another shows that all types of berries are loaded with healing compounds like antioxidants, manganese, and vitamin C. In fact, a recent study found that people who ate powdered strawberries every day may have a lower risk of esophageal cancer.

There’s also a lot of research linking strawberry consumption to heart health, weight loss, and healthy blood sugar levels. As if that weren’t enough, strawberries have a relatively low sugar content compared to other fruits. While the strawberry daiquiri may not be a “superfood smoothie”, it can honestly be said that it has some health benefits!

As mentioned earlier, strawberries are low in sugar compared to many other fruits. So there is a chance that you are now wondering which fruits are on the “cheeky” end of the sugar spectrum.

Well, luckily for Americans, one of the worst culprits is a fruit you’ve probably never heard of: lychees. Each of these tropical fruits is sometimes referred to as “alligator strawberry” and contains about 29 grams of sugar.

One high-sugar fruit that you are probably more familiar with is the mango. While this fruit is high in nutritious compounds like vitamin A, it also contains around 23 grams of sugar in each cup.

Other high-sugar fruits to eat in moderation include cherries, pineapples, oranges, and pears.
