Dutch Bros Coffee plans to start building a new facility in Cypress in the third quarter of 2021, with the goal of opening by the end of the year.

The new location at 25250 Northwest Fwy. in Cypress, will have a single-sided, double-lane drive through and a walk-through window where customers can order a variety of handcrafted beverages.

“A typical visit offers upbeat music, energetic broistas (Dutch Bros’ version of baristas) and outstanding speed, quality and service,” said Aaron Harriss, Vice President of Development at Dutch Bros, in a written statement. “Dutch Bros serves coffee specialties, smoothies, frozen drinks, teas, an energy drink from the own brand Dutch Bros Blue Rebel and nitrogen-enriched cold brew coffee.”

Crust Pizza Co – Spring

A Crust Pizza Co location is moving to a new retail center in the HEB parking lot at FM 2920 and Gosling Road this spring.

Construction on the new Crust Pizza Co, 5211 FM 2920, Suite 108, could be completed this spring around early to mid-September, and the location is expected to open its doors about three to four weeks after the project is complete.

The 2,880 square meter space will “offer a complete dining room as well as a covered, semi-air-conditioned outdoor terrace with an artificial turf play area for children,” says the owner of the site, Justin Bentley.

The pizza restaurant makes batter for its signature crust on a daily basis, and pizzas are made to order for each customer. Crust Pizza Co also offers wines, local beers and teas, as well as wings, subs, pastas and calzones.

Aloha Beauty Lounge – Tomball

Construction work on the new 5,070 square meter location of the Aloha Beauty Lounge at 107 N Sycamore St. in Tomball is in progress.

After the groundbreaking on February 12, the project was temporarily put on hold by winter storm Uri, but construction has resumed and is well on its way to being ready in time for the opening in November. The new location will replace the E Main Street location.

“It’s a completely new building that will revolutionize our current Aloha Beauty Lounge,” says Tracey Phan, owner of Aloha.

Services offered by Aloha Nails include eyelash extensions, eyebrow microblading, manicures, pedicures and facials.

The new building features theater-style pedicure chairs, 12 manicure stations, and two areas with multiple reclining chairs for eyebrow microblading, eyelash extensions, and facials.

Pure Barre – Creekside

A new Pure Barre location will start this year at 26435 Kuykendahl Rd., Suite 350, in Tomball, with construction starting this month and scheduled to open in mid-September.

“Pure Barre is more than just a barre workout; it’s a lifestyle, ”says Samar Iraní, owner of Pure Barre Creekside. “At PB we share a sense of community that inspires and strengthens each other’s fitness and lifestyle goals.”

The new 1,400 square meter facility will have a large studio for workouts at the bar and a sales area.

Domino’s – spring

Domino’s will begin construction this month at a new location at 806 E Airtex Dr., No. 103 in the spring area, which is expected to open by the end of the year.

The 1,750 square meter store will have a “pizza theater design,” which means the space will have an open concept so customers can see the pizza making process.

“It’s a lot more fun and inviting than Domino’s stores in the past,” said Danielle Bulger, director of public relations. “In addition, children can regularly see team members putting on a ‘dough show’ – throwing the pizza dough in the air!”

Domino’s menu includes a variety of pizza crusts, specialty pizza, baked sandwiches, chicken wings, desserts, and more.

Domino’s offers both delivery and collection services. The pizza company enables its customers to order through digital platforms such as Google Home, Facebook Messenger, Apply Watch, Amazon Echo, Twitter and others. Last year, the restaurant began offering contactless takeaway via Dominos Carside Delivery as an option to customers placing prepaid orders online.

Wild Rose Dental Care will open its new spring office at 2430 Rayford Rd., Suite 102, on July 23, according to a press release.

Caroline Le, DDS, and Mary Kuruvilla, DDS, along with their dental team, will provide general, cosmetic and restorative dentistry in the family dental office.

Good Chiropractic, LLC opens June 21st at 13810 Champion Forest Dr., Suite 150 in northwest Houston.

Dollar General – Magnolia

Dollar General announced in a June 28 news release that it has recently opened a new store at 28943 Nichols Sawmill Rd. at magnolia.

The store sells items such as groceries, cleaning supplies, toiletries, decorations, and other housewares. The new location also has a wide variety of fruits and vegetables.

According to the press release, Dollar General intends to donate 100 books to an elementary school in the community to celebrate the opening of its new location. In addition, schools, nonprofits, and libraries within 15 miles of the new location can apply for grants through the Dollar General Literacy Foundation.

The new store is expected to employ six to ten people.
