ONONDAGA, NY – The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Onondaga Community College (OCC) presents the Small Business of the Year award to one company in each of the six counties in which it operates.
SBDC announces the honors as it recognizes National Small Business Week, the OCC said.
The 2022 honorees are Luminary Electrical (Onondaga County); Paws ‘n Purrs Pet Care (Cayuga County); Seven Valley Specialty Cables (Cortland County); 20 East (Madison County); Great Bear Child Care (Oswego County); Waterloo Chiropractic (Seneca County).
The SBDC in the OCC also awards two other awards. First, Galvin Farms Gourmet Mushroom Company in Lysander is recognized as Small Farming Business of the Year. SBDC also honors M&T Bank as Regional Small Business Lender Partner of the Year.
“We are so proud of what each of these companies has achieved. We also thank M&T Bank for their support of small businesses,” said Bob Griffin, OCC’s SBDC Regional Director. “Small business really is America’s business. Despite some economic uncertainties, there is reason for optimism. These companies are proof of that. If you dream of starting or growing your small business, our consultants can help you make informed decisions and take informed action.”
