TEMECULA, CA – On Saturday, July 24th, 2019 at 5:30 p.m., the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce held its 55th Annual Awards Ceremony. This event honored exceptional companies, service / charities, and individuals who were nominated for their commitment, innovation, and leadership in our community. The evening included dinner, an extravagant silent auction, entertainment from killer dueling pianos, and a stellar awards ceremony. Over 600 people attended this year’s gala, which was held at the Pechanga Resort & Casino in the Summit Ballroom. The event’s title sponsor was Abbott and the premier sponsor was Pechanga Resort & Casino. The Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce would like to thank all sponsors and congratulate all nominees and award winners for their contributions and service to our community.

Prize winners of the 55th prize gala:
Valley Young Professional of the Year: Eric Bunge, Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley
Eric Bunge is the Community Outreach Director for Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley. He has been working in this role for 3 years and has been fully immersed in the local community during that time. He is the Chair of Community Relations at Valley Young Professionals, nearing his sophomore semester as a lecturer on MSJC’s Introduction to Construction Class, and recently founded The Affordable Shoppe – a family-run small business that builds and customizes wood creations.

Visit Temecula Valley Welty Tourism Professional of the Year: Dan Stephenson, The Rancon Group & Europa Village By the age of 25, Dan was ambitious and excited to be successful in business. And so in 1968, while roaming the open area of ​​the Temecula Valley, he found a dream that could last a lifetime. In 1971, Dan founded Rancho Consultants, a real estate brokerage and land development company that later shortened its name to Rancon. Then he moved with his family, castle, warehouse and barrel to this pristine, rustic place where he wanted to make a name for himself. But now, with a family, it meant not only business opportunities, but also a quality of life for his family and any families he wanted to settle in the Temecula Valley. The family is at the center of his motivation. Ambassador of the Year: Tom Somers, Stonehouse Insurance Services Tom brings to his role as a Certified Financial Planner a wealth of business, insurance and financial experience gained through a career as an executive in various service industries in New York, Europe and California . Tom is known as a thoughtful, innovative attorney for his clients who is committed to helping them find financial security. He is an active member of several community organizations, including a loyal ambassador to the Chamber of Commerce of the Temecula Valley for almost 15 years.

Ruby Service Charity of the Year: Rotary Club Temecula
The Rotary Club Temecula, founded in 1975, has 100 members and is part of Rotary International, which was founded in 1905 and has 1.2 million members worldwide. The Rotary Club Temecula focuses on the five ministries Youth, Profession, International, Community and Club and influences our community, region and world with endless opportunities for our members to practice their passion for service beyond themselves.

Emerald Service Charity of the Year: Assistance League of Temecula Valley
Assistance League of Temecula Valley is a non-profit, volunteer service organization committed to identifying and promoting the needs of the Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, Lake Elsinore, Wildomar and Romoland communities through philanthropic programs developed and administered by our members support. The Assistance League member volunteers were not deterred by the effects of COVID-19 and instead have come together and found innovative ways to keep in touch with us
Communities and come together with local partners to find innovative ways to continue serving the people who rely on our help.

Bronze Business of the Year: Tina M. Gottlieb Chiropractic, APC
For 25 years, Dr. Tina’s passion and focus of her work is the specific chiropractic care of the upper cervical spine so that her patients can lead a successful, prosperous life and their time is not exhausted by health problems, pain or lack of energy. Dr. Tina is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, 19 year old member of Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce, 18
Year member of the Rotary Club of Temecula, business owner, host of Audacious, wife and mother of a 14 year old daughter.

Gold Business of the Year: Home Perfect Restoration Home Perfect Restoration has been in business in Temecula since 2013 and has 3 divisions. Home Perfect offers cleaning services that include carpet, tile and grout, and upholstery cleaning. The next few businesses provide 24-hour disaster recovery services, including water, mold, fire, and smoke removal. Home Perfect also offers construction and repair services for full home or business restoration after a disaster, as well as conversions, additions and TIs.

Citizen of the Year: Craig Davis, Craig Davis Family Insurance Agency, Inc.
Craig and Kathy Davis have lived in the Temecula Valley for thirty years and celebrated their 30th anniversary last October. Craig is very involved in the community. He is a longstanding member of the Temecula and Murrieta / Wildomar Chambers of Commerce. He is a past president and proud member of the Rotary Club of Temecula and serves on several committees. He is the Rotary District Membership Chair for Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. He serves as a trustee on the Temecula Public Cemetery Board. Craig supports a number of nonprofits in the area financially and through volunteering and serves on the advisory boards of the Big Brothers Big Sisters and WAVES. He and his wife are a big couple in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program. Craig tries to live by the Rotary motto of “Service For Yourself”.

Life’s work: Pat Comerchero, friends of the Temecula Children’s Museum
Pat Comerchero is the President of the Friends of the Temecula Children’s Museum. In 1999, Pat and her husband Jeff Comerchero, who was on the Temecula City Council, saw the need and opportunity to advocate for the development of a children’s museum in Temecula. As the idea gained momentum, she rolled up her sleeves and started working with the architects and designers on the museum. The Imagination Workshop, later appropriately named
“Pennypickles” opened to rave reviews in 2004 and has since enchanted hundreds of thousands of aspiring young scientists. About two years after it opened, the museum won a prestigious Themed Entertainment Association (THEA) award and was selected from among some of the world’s top theme parks, including a new Disneyland in Europe and a safari park in Africa. Over the years, Pat has designed and implemented many programs to
benefits the youth of the region. She is particularly proud of the “Protege Program”, in which she identifies and employs young foster children together with other non-profit organizations from the region. She worked hard to get scholarships and sponsors to help fund it. Pat also serves her community as a volunteer who works with the CASA (court appointed special lawyers) for foster children.

Kimberly owns Clear Blue Promotions, based in Fallbrook, California. In addition to her own company, she was the first vice chairman of the board of directors of the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce in 2020. She proved to be a valuable and supportive addition to the organization and the chairman of the board. It is with great honor that Chairman Al
