Ever feel like you are getting no results from your workout? Don’t be discouraged, there are a few tricks you can use to make this workout routine more effective. Nutrition and fitness expert Jody Trierweiler spoke to presenter Jason Carr about the importance of working up a sweat.

Trierweiler says it is very important that our bodies sweat to get cardiovascular benefits and burn enough calories.

To get your metabolism going, it’s important to stay hydrated. Trierweiler recommends water or BCAA (Branch Chain Amino Acids), which will help rebuild the proteins in your muscles and provide you with energy.

Trierweiler also encourages you to get out of your comfort zone in order to maximize the benefits of your workout. She says you have to take your energy up and down and never stay at a constant pace.
