Training exercise on Tuesday at Everett Naval Station

A heads up from the Navy for those near Naval Station Everett on Tuesday, September 7th.

Naval Station Everett will conduct a training drill at Everett Main Base Tuesday, September 7th.

The exercise takes place between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Those who regularly access the base should expect intermittent closings at the north and main gates throughout the exercise.

During the exercise, those nearby can hear mass warnings from the base’s external speakers.

The exercise includes active rescue vehicles and coordination with mutual aid partners.

The Navy conducts regular training drills to maintain and improve security and emergency capability qualifications. These exercises will help prepare you for a potential real emergency.
