Sitting in front of a computer all day means finding time to practice literally can be difficult. While the gym is always an option, it can be nice to have choices at home that make exercising a bit more convenient. Today we’re looking at the Urevo exercise bike.

The bike costs $ 199, but if you’re looking for an easy-to-assemble bike that doesn’t take up a lot of space, this option from Urevo is definitely worth checking out. I’ve been testing the bike for about three weeks now and overall it has been a great asset to keep active even after spending more than 10 hours a day on the computer.

Personally, I hate putting things together. I don’t care if it’s an exercise bike or IKEA furniture, I just don’t like doing it. Fortunately, the Urevo bike is relatively easy to assemble. Everything is in the box, including tools, and it took me about 45 minutes to assemble it.

I think the time would have been cut a bit, but the instruction manual wasn’t the best. The glaring problem was that the images with the various screws and other parts were extremely small and a little blurry. I was spending a lot more time comparing nuts and bolts than I should ever have.

Once that is out of the way, however, the bike snaps and screws itself together very easily and everything feels extremely solid. It should be noted that the bike is rated up to 260 pounds so keep that in mind when deciding whether to buy it or not.

So is it a good bike and what are its functions?

The Urevo exercise bike has an LCD screen to keep track of things like calories burned, time, speed and distance. There’s also an extra slot at the top to place your phone in if you need some entertainment while frolicking.

The seat on the bike is comfortable and you have many adjustment options for the sitting position and you can also adjust the handlebar height accordingly. The pedals are solid and include the cage for your feet so you can make sure you are locked in.

The bike’s flywheel is well balanced and for the most part reflects the feel of a real bike. This option from Urevo uses a resistance system to increase the intensity of your session and it works well. It uses a cotton pad and if I have any problems with it it is that the cotton pad gives off an odor that is not good during more intense sessions.

Should you buy this bike?

Look, if you don’t feel like going to the gym to use their equipment and jogging is making you physically sick, this bike could be a great addition to your home. It can fit in the corner of a room without taking up a lot of space and assembly is straightforward.

The LCD screen helps keep pace with important information and the resistance system can be fine-tuned for a casual session or a strenuous session. At $ 200, it won’t break the bank, but it will also realize you’re getting a no-frills bike designed to help you stay in shape.
