A major annual joint military exercises that is held annually between United States and South Korea began today, Monday, after an absence of five years.

The statement said officials announced that thousands of soldiers from both countries take part in two weeks of military games dubbed “Ulchi Freedom Shield”.

The exercises will consist of various exercises for field training, including battalion-level training on elimination of weapons of mass destruction operations.
