SINGAPORE – A lady who was suffering from chronic migraines for several years sought help from a doctor after the painkillers she was taking didn’t seem to be easing her pain.

The solution was found to reduce the frequency of medications to a minimum of twice a week, according to the doctor Hew Jia Ni, family physician and clinical leader for the Neurology Workgroup, SingHealth Polyclinics. The patient at her mid-70s been suffering from headaches caused by overuse of medication.
