Khloé announced that she “feels bad” if she develops one of her longstanding migraines while playing with her 3-year-old daughter, True Thompson.
Keeping up with the Kardashians Alum Khloé Kardashian announced that she “feels bad” if she develops one of her longstanding migraines while playing True Thompson with her 3-year-old daughter. Khloé is currently taking medication to treat her migraines and starring in a popular Nurtec commercial. According to the drug’s website, “Nurtec ODT is a prescription-only acute treatment for migraine attacks with or without aura and the preventative treatment for episodic migraines.” With over 750,000 prescriptions for the oral drug, Khloé claims she’s finally got her life under control with some kind of migraine relief she hasn’t felt since she was sixth grade.
Migraines or not, Khloé strives to become the best co-parent she can be for True. Since dating her baby daddy and NBA star Tristan Thompson, the duo have endured several beak-ups due to their wandering eyes. Recent allegations of Tristan’s types of fraud led the couple to split in June. Although the 37-year-old reality TV mom is reportedly single, she has been very vocal in advocating staying cordial and communicating with Tristan on a daily basis on behalf of her daughter.
Now Khloé is telling her 29 million Twitter followers the truth behind her “excruciating” headache. “I wish people would understand how debilitating migraines can be,” she wrote. “I get so frustrated when people tell me to have my way and it’s just a bad headache. If only they knew! This feeling is excruciating and indescribable. I can’t believe I left home without my migraine medication. ”After a flurry of virtual love and support from fans, Khloé made it clear that she was able to reach her medication and that she felt a lot better sending those tweets. “There was no way I could use the phone if I still had my migraines,” she said. “I just took a breath because I had to postpone a meeting because of my migraines. When I apologized and explained why I couldn’t make it earlier, everyone rolled their eyes.”

Khloé’s work isn’t the only thing affected by her migraines, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star admits that if she senses one is coming, she can’t be a good mother. “I feel so bad when I get one, especially when they get between me and my daughter,” tweeted Khloé. “She’s only 3 years old so she doesn’t understand that I really can’t lift my head when I experience one. Most adults don’t understand that.”
While most Kardashians seem perfectly put together, it is refreshing when they reveal what is really going on behind the Instagram footage and reality cameras. It’s nice to see how much Khloé loves and cares for her daughter, and while she’s worried about being a good mom if she gets a migraine, it’s okay to have a mom moment every now and then to ask. Thank goodness modern medicine offers this Keeping up with the Kardashians Star another chance to live their best life.
