New Delhi: Migraines are a type of headache that can be mild and then turn into sharp pain. It can also cause a tingling sensation. Migraines are especially recognized when the pain is on one side of the head. People with migraines tend to experience nausea, noise and light sensitivity during this chronic headache.
The person with migraines can have a severe headache for four hours to several days.

Migraines are generally considered to be genetic. The exact cause of the disease has not yet been clarified. About 15 percent of the world’s adult population suffer from migraines.
What are the symptoms of migraines?
The most common form is migraine with aura, which is a recurring headache that occurs after or at the same time as the impaired sensation. Auras include vision problems where a person sees flashes of light, blind spots, and other visual disturbances or tingling sensations in the hand or face. Aside from that, irritability, severe pain in one side of the head, and anger are also common symptoms.
It is a neurological problem that causes severe stabbing pain at any moment, this can cause vomiting or nausea and even gas.
Treatment of migraines
It is very important to change your diet when treating migraines. If you have air conditioning, don’t go out in the sun right away. Never drink cold water after getting out of the scorching heat. Use sunglasses and umbrellas when stepping into sunlight. Drink as much water as you can. Avoid drinks containing caffeine, such as tea, coffee, or consume them in moderation.
Keep your blood pressure under control. Go for a walk every day. If you can walk barefoot on green grass, do surya namaskar and practice yoga. If you don’t see any improvement, contact your doctor.
