Kolhapur: BJP MLA Nitesh Rane was discharged from Chhatrapati Pramila Raje civil hospital in Kolhapur on Thursday morning.
Rane, named in a case of assaulting a Shiv Sena worker, was in judicial custody when he was brought to Kolhapur on Monday for the treatment of several health complaints.
During the hospitalization, Rane was advised CT angiography and several other medical procedures. However, till his discharge, he did not give his consent for the procedures to be done.
He was granted conditional bail by Sindhudurg court on Wednesday. Rane left CPR hospital in an ambulance and spoke to the media after reaching Sawantwadi.
He said, “I had back and neck pain. I also have blood sugar and blood pressure complications. Even now, my blood pressure is on the higher side. I will visit Mumbai for further treatment.”
