BINGHAMTON, NY – Get out the bags of apples you picked, this week’s Nutrition in the Kitchen dish is a colorful and very healthy apple salad.
For the apple salad you need:
3 red apples cut into bite-sized pieces
3 green apples cut into bite-sized chucks
1 cup of raisins
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1 cup vanilla yogurt
1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
Mix the apples, raisins and cranberries in a large bowl.
Mix the yogurt and cinnamon in a small bowl.
Pour the yogurt mixture over the apples and stir.
Serve immediately or refrigerate.
