Ronan Keating’s four-year-old son was released after being hospitalized on Wednesday.
The former Boyzone star told fans yesterday that Cooper, whom he shares with his wife Storm, 39, has been hospitalized and that he and Storm are “worriedly ill”.
Storm has now given an update on Cooper’s condition and happily announced that he is “on the mend”.
The Australian designer shared a picture of her son lying in a hospital bed with a bracelet on his wrist and a wire on his thumb while he cuddled a teddy bear.
Storm wrote in the caption: “48 hours, we’re happy to see the back. Thanks to everyone for your prayers and good wishes – they worked (!), Because our little man is on the way to recovery and also on the way home ♥ ️
“Big thanks to all of the wonderful @chelwestft staff who were just amazing 🙌 This mom is exploding with joy and relief to bring @cooper_keating home with dad.”
Friends sent their good wishes, with Kirsty Gallacher writing: “I send you all so much love” and Ashley James wrote: “I send you such big hugs.”
Neither Storm nor Ronan stated why Cooper had been rushed to the hospital.
Ronan missed The One Show, which he was scheduled to present with Alex Scott on Thursday night, with Gethin Jones stepping in to replace him due to her family emergency.
The singer “When You Say Nothing At All” had previously announced to fans on social media that his son was in the hospital and wrote: “Not the 24 hours I imagined. But you never know what life is This little guy is a total trooper. I’m overwhelmed by his strength and charm. Mom and Dad are a mess, sick and he takes it easy. I’m so incredibly grateful to the @chelwestft staff, you rock. “
Ronan and Storm are also parents of one-year-old daughter Coco, while Ronan shares son Jack (22) and daughters Missy (20) and Ali (16) with ex-wife Yvonne Connelly.

It was tough months for the Keating family when Storm underwent emergency spine surgery in March to treat cauda equine syndrome, which resulted from a herniated disc.
Cauda equina syndrome is a rare and severe form of spinal stenosis in which all of the nerves in the lower back are suddenly and severely compressed.

Symptoms include sciatica, severe numbness or weakness in the legs or around the genitals or anus, and problems urinating, and if left untreated, it can lead to permanent paralysis and incontinence.
Calling the incident “the scariest week of my life,” the star said, “. Without Dr. Aftab and his extraordinary care, diligence, attention and competence, I would not leave this hospital with the prospect of leading the normal life that I had always imagined. “
