Mets' Taijuan Walker: Dealing with Minor Problems

Walker felt a pinch in his left shoulder during a swing in Saturday’s Blue Jays loss, MLB.com’s Anthony DiComo reports.

Walker struggled for the second straight start as he allowed six earned runs on eight hits and two walks over four innings to make up for the loss. The bigger problem, however, could be the injury he sustained during the outing. After the game, Walker downplayed the problem and did not tell reporters the nature of the injury. However, manager Luis Rojas revealed the shoulder pain. At this point, there seems to be minimal concern from both the player and the team, which means Walker should still be able to make his next move through the rotation if no further information comes up.
