Kolhapur: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Nitesh Rane is likely to get discharge from the hospital on Thursday.
On Wednesday, Sindhudurg court granted Rane conditional bail in an attempt-to-murder case (involving a Sena worker). Rane was admitted to Chhatrapati Pramila Raje civil hospital on Monday after he complained of chest discomfort and neck pain. Since Monday, Rane has been on medications as prescribed by the team of doctors at the CPR Hospital in Kolhapur.
Girish Kamble, superintendent at CPR hospital, said, “Rane’s blood pressure is on the higher side. He complained of giddiness and nausea. The team of doctors will take a call on his discharge after assessing his health condition.”
According to the hospital authorities, Rane’s discharge card is being prepared and he will be discharged around 9.30am on Thursday.
Meanwhile, a few supporters gathered at the hospital premise and celebrated as Rane was granted a bail by the court.
