Mike Tyson has been suffering from Sciatica.

The legendary boxer, who is 56 years old, has spoken out about his health concerns after being photographed in a wheelchair balancing an exercise stick and also confessed that the times he struggled to talk when his disease “flares in the air”.

He said on Newsmax TV: “I have sciatica at times and it gets worse. If it’s flares up I am unable to even speak! It’s a blessing that this is my only health issue that I’m suffering from.

“I’m wonderful right today. Everybody in my household is blessed, and we’re very thankful for what we’ve been given.”

Sciatica can affect nerve ends in the body. It appears that this former champion has been dealing with issues that are related with his back.

It is caused when the sciatic nerve that runs through your lower back and into your feet. is compressed or inflamed and, while it typically improves over the course of between four and six weeks, it may last for longer.

Tyson has been forced to withdraw from boxing in 2005 due back problems.

In the meantime, he has recently said that he could not be able to live.

On his own podcast ‘Hotboxin He declared: “We’re all gonna die at some point, of course. When I glance in the mirror I notice those tiny spots on my face..

“I say, ‘Wow. That’s a sign that I’m expiring approaching very soon.’ ”

Tyson has also said he keeps in shape by taking magic mushrooms each day, and also smoking cannabis.

He’s previously said: “Cannabis is good to exercise in my opinion. It’s just that I wish I was smoke back during my fights. I was really a loser from an athlete’s point of view.

“But If I’d smoked in the time I was boxing, I wouldn’t have been as in my fights.

“I also enjoy smoking a pipe before fighting. I consume psychedelics daily and mushrooms.”
