Sciatica is an expression used to describe a condition that is used to describe damage or irritation of the sciatic (pronounced “sigh-attic”) nerve. Sciatic nerve can be described as a group of nerves, each one of which originates at the bottom of the spine and then flow down the leg and into the toes.
